As the originator of the Thanks to You initiative, Gainsborough’s House is delighted to offer free entry to visitors for three days from 19 – 21 March 2023. Just show one National Lottery ticket (physical or digital), scratchcard, or Instant Win Game to be welcomed in to the museum and galleries.

Thanks to National Lottery players, the fascinating story of one of Britain’s most important artists has been brought to life at the newly re-opened Gainsborough’s House.

The childhood home of Thomas Gainsborough has undergone a £10million transformational redevelopment to become the largest gallery in Suffolk and all thanks to generous support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see the great art of Thomas Gainsborough, along with exhibitions of international appeal, free of charge.

Visitors are welcome to visit the Watering Place Café with its views of the garden and newly refurbished and expanded shop.
