Our in-house Learning Team sits at the heart of Gainsborough’s House, bringing specialist knowledge, creative expertise, and a deep understanding of the curriculum to everything they deliver. From schools and colleges to families and adult learners, their work is shaped by an inclusive, responsive approach—making each visit engaging, imaginative and relevant. Every programme is thoughtfully designed to connect people with art, place and ideas in ways that are memorable and meaningful.
Jilly has facilitated workshops for children to world-leading businesses like Facebook, LinkedIn and Google. Jilly believes that “everyone is creative.” and since 2018 she has hosted workshops and retreats across Spain, Portugal and the UK as part of Lisboa Social Press.
As a Course Director at West Suffolk College she has created student exhibitions and artist talks at the John Peel Centre, the APEX in Bury St Edmunds and Endeavour House through Ipswich Council. Additionally in July 2024, she was featured on BBC News for a collaborative project which explored the healing power of the sea, exhibited at Felixstowe Museum as part of Pier Projects.
Now at Gainsborough’s House she is managing the Print Workshop and creating bespoke learning experiences for education and community within the Museum and beyond.
