The museum and visitor shop are open from 10am until 5pm every day.

Our café is open from 9:30am until 5pm every day.

Between 12 June – 16 June 2023, we will be preparing our exhibition spaces to welcome three new, fantastic exhibitions. These will be available to visit from 17 June – 29 October 2023.

We are pleased to say that the House will still be accessible during this time. Please be aware of some minor changes to your visiting experience while we install the forthcoming exhibitions.

You can purchase your tickets for entry on arrival from reception in our new gallery. Alternatively, you can order your tickets online. Tickets purchased online are not date specific and are valid for a single entry for one year from the date of purchase.

Suffolk Day 2023 — Wednesday 21 June
Entry to the museum will be free on Wednesday 21 June to celebrate Suffolk Day.

What is Suffolk Day?

Suffolk Day is a county-wide party to recognise our great icons, attractions, landscapes, institutions, special events and more. The annual festivities continue on the longest day of the year, when the sun rises on our east coast and shines upon the many wonderful things we have.
