Stellarum Choir: California Dreamin’

Stellarum’s repertoire ranges from exquisite church music to more traditional songs and pop favourites. In the special garden at Gainsborough’s House on 4 July 2024, their “California Dreamin'” programme will include songs by The Mommas and Poppas and the Beach Boys as well as some current American coral classics.

Stellarum is a San Diego based chamber choir on its first international tour. While in the UK they will be singing at St George’s Chapel, Windsor and at the Cathedral in Bury St Edmund’s as well as some local Suffolk churches.

The choir was formed in 2020 by British composer and choral director, Benjamin Thiele-Long. Ben has worked with professional and amateur choirs across the UK. He was formally a choral scholar of Royal Holloway and founder and director of the London chamber choir Lumen.
