Gainsborough’s House welcomes you to its stunning Landscape Studio to enjoy a morning of painting the figure from life (clothed).

We will be focusing on gesture and colour theory using de László’s colour palette and techniques.

About Ione

Ione trained at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy from 2011–14. Here, she immersed herself in the traditional methods of drawing and painting inspired by the techniques of nineteenth-century artists. After completing her studies, she had the privilege of teaching at the Florence Academy of Art. Upon moving back to London, she continued to work as an instructor at the London Atelier of Representational Art.

Ione’s work has been exhibited in London, Italy and America. She continues to paint portraits and landscapes in and around her home in Sudbury, Suffolk.
