March 23 @ 10:00 am – March 24 @ 4:00 pm
Screen printing is the process of transferring a stencilled design onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, ink and a squeegee. This course will introduce the basics of screen printing with hand-cut paper stencils. You will learn how to plan, prepare and print a multi-layered colour image. We will explore the effects of ink transparency and opacity in layering stencils.
This course will provide good basic skills and competency with the equipment to enable you to create your own work and prepare you to move on to more advanced stencil-making techniques.
