Water Portals is a digital artwork exploring the microscopic world of water. Discover the beautiful microbes that live in our rivers, lakes and seas, and understand the crucial roles they play in creating a healthy world. Explore how these important microbes are at risk from climate change, and what simple things we can do to make a difference. Water Portals was commissioned by Level Centre and funded by Arts Council England.

Water Portals is a project by Henry Driver who was born in Suffolk and his studio is based here too. Henry Driver is a digital artist and game developer. He creates projects that connect us to our environment and presents achievable responses to climate change. He has shown work across the world across the world in Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, India, Japan, Portugal, South Korea, the USA, Turkey and Taiwan. His videos have been broadcast on TV in over 40 countries. While in the UK, Driver has shown at galleries such as Tate Liverpool, Tate Britain, Whitechapel & Barbican, as well as receiving commissions from BBC Arts, Red Bull, and the EU Social Fund.
