Barbara is an award-winning horticulturist, an author of numerous books and a freelance garden writer whose work appears in specialist gardening publications. Living and writing in Suffolk, Barbara will touch on the inspiration for both her previous book Secret Gardens of East Anglia and this new tour of delightful gardens that we should all be exploring this summer.

Come along for a glass of wine and a special evening at Gainsborough’s House. Copies of the book will be available for the author to sign, specially discounted for the evening.

A tour of some of the UK’s most beguiling gardens in the counties of Kent, Sussex and Surrey, the counties that exemplify ‘the garden of England’.

In these three counties, a wealth of history and horticulture has combined with geography in the shape of rolling landscapes, wooded valleys and meandering waterways, to provide an attractive and fascinating collection.
