Description
Pru Green is a ceramic artist who has worked for over 60 years with earthenware clay decorated with coloured slips. Each piece she makes is hand thrown, individually decorated and signed by her, making each one truly unique.
Pru gained a scholarship to study art at the Sheffield College of Art at the age of 11. Her first pottery workshop was in Lincolnshire followed by a spell teaching at Grimsby Art College before setting up Gwili Pottery in Camarthen. She has since had a gallery in Essex.
