Kate Giles: Remember Tomorrow

Suffolk-born and Norfolk residing artist Kate Giles (b. 1962) creates expressive work rooted in her native landscape, specifically drawing on the legacy of John Constable. 

This exhibition primarily showcases new paintings and drawings, several of which explicitly refer to Constable’s six-footer of the Suffolk landscape, The Leaping Horse, which will be on display as part of the main exhibition during this season. 

Constable described The Leaping Horse as, ‘lively – & soothing – calm and exhilarating, fresh – & blowing’, and it is this dual energy, that Giles has responded to fervently.

Admission tickets can be purchased at reception when you visit, or online in advance. 

This exhibition continues across multiple spaces within the Historic House.
